Marshall Fire Rescue

During the Marshall Fires, which destroyed over 1,000 homes and businesses in the Superior area, one homeowner was wracked with guilt after having to leave behind her 11 guinea pigs while evacuating. Fortunately, her home survived the blaze, but safety restrictions prevented her from returning. She reached out to Cavies & Canines for help, and under the leadership of Natalie Riggs, the organization entered the home and rescued all 11 guinea pigs — miraculously, every one of them was still alive.
